Unceasing discernment is the way to remove and end ignorance.
We are all hypnotized by the alluring world of the senses by the show called the material world. Likewise we are all self-hypnotized by the inner theater of the mind with its thoughts and emotional reactions. We get so caught up in these two worlds—the external and the internal that we forget our True Identity as the Seer, as Consciousness itself.
The way to remind ourselves of our True Identity as the Seer is to make it an unceasing practice to discern between what is constant, that Self-referring Identity and what changes and fluctuates, the world of form, phenomena and discourse. Do not stop doing this until you abide in your own Self, the Pure Witness.
Practice the I AM Meditation in daily life. When looking, hearing, sensing, feeling, smelling, tasting, thinking do so with the awareness that the I AM Within is looking through your eyes, hearing through your ears, sensing through your intuition, feeling through your skin / nervous system, smelling through your nose, tasting through your mouth, thinking through your mind. Do this at all levels of expression whether externally through your senses or internally through your psychic instruments. You are the Pure Subject (I AM) of all your experiences, the Witness Consciousness thereof. In Essence there is nothing after I AM as all objects and phenomena that come after it are transient and not who you are in Essence.
