Yoga Sutras of Patanjali translated by Yogi Kalinath - Chapter 1, Verse 51

Pada 1, Sutra 51
Sanskrit Verse
Tasyapi nirodhe sarva-nirodhan nirbijah samadhih
Translation
Upon the ending of even that insight, all other modifications of consciousness will stop arising and result in Nirbijah Samadhi (or Cognitive Absorption without seed).
Interpretation
Yoga in essence is the peeling away of the layers of the onion of the mind until we get to the core of consciousness being the center of the onion. The center of the onion holds nothing or no-thing, all the layers have been removed revealing no-thing as the sole reality. That is Nirbijah Samadhi or Cognitive Absorption without seed, the dissolution of the mind into its own essence being the very Light of Awareness Itself.
