Pada 1, Sutra 47

Sanskrit Verse

Nirvicara-vaisharadye ‘dhyatma-prasadah

Translation

Upon attaining the Nirvicara (non-reflective) stage of Samadhi comes the clarity of the spiritual light of the Self.

Interpretation

Once all the veils of the mind have parted, what is revealed is what was there before the beginning and will be there after the ending, the light of the True Self Within. It is the Supreme Self, the ‘I AM’, the True Being of Being. It if Self-Illuminating. Now one has moved from experiencing (satori) Enlightenment to being Enlightenment (Nirvana).
