From that constraint (Pada 3, Sutra 35), spontaneous intuitive flashes based on suprasensory hearing, feeling, seeing, tasting, smelling and intelligence arises.
Ultimately all powers come from the Self. When we are able to obtain the knowledge of the Self by making the distinction between the Self and its vehicles of expression, then that Essence / Principle will be able to flow on to enliven and empower the various vehicles (causal, subtle and gross) and their sensory apparatuses. This includes the suprasensory apparatuses of the subtle body (inner psychic senses of hearing, feeling, seeing, tasting, smelling and intelligence).
The mind in its pure state is the reflection of the Light of the Self. Intuition is the Self talking to us while prayer is the self talking to the Self. The ultimate prayer is supplication to surrender to the Self followed by the petition to serve the Self in others.
